Very central location in the city. Rooms with windows to the large courtyard very quiet despite wide street. Parking in the underground car park incl.
The whole motel is getting on in years, it smells musty. Air conditioning can only be operated manually (but hangs over the door)

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. the location was fantastic - it was very close to the city center and just a short walk to the train station. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city and visit all the popular attractions. Additionally, the hotel provided basic amenities such as crockery and cutlery in the rooms, which was a nice touch and added to the overall comfort of my stay.
I had a wonderful experience and there was nothing that I believe could be improved.

The hotel didn't have many good points however the staff were cheerful and helpful.
It was probably over-priced for the accommodation

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and provided great customer service. The rooms were big and spacious, with a neat and tidy bathroom. The hotel also had a quiet location, making it suitable for families. Its proximity to the city center, Queen Vic markets, and other attractions like Etihad Stadium was a major plus. We also enjoyed the hotel facilities, including the bar and cafe/lounge area. the cleanliness, convenience, and friendly staff made our stay memorable.
Can't think of anything.

Room was quite good and clean when we arrived - reasonably spacious and quite good location
Room fronted busy road and was noisy - one largish window above the door did not have a curtain and light could not be blocked out (said they would look at this but didn't) - demanded payment for the whole of the stay upfront despite having a credit card imprint (I have never experienced this) - English language skills of reception not high - hotel standard overall barely 3 stars - would not stay at this hotel again unless it was significantly cheaper than elsewhere

The hotel was nice (though very basic in style), clean and well located. It was very reasonably priced, especially when compared to other hotels in the area or in Melbourne in general.
1. No elevator (lift), so I had to carry my luggage through the stairway to the second floor. 2. The rooms upstairs are located right next to an open patio, where sometimes people sit and talk. One of the evenings it was very noisy. 3. The patio is also a smoking area, so whenever someone smokes there, you feel the smell when coming out of the room or when coming in from the stairway (though not in the room itself).
